The Parenteral Feeding Administration Training course is designed to equip Direct Care Professionals, caregivers, and support staff with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely and confidently administer medications through parenteral routes. This training emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards, safe medication practices, and proper documentation to support high‑quality client care. Participants will learn fundamental principles of parenteral medication administration, including: Understanding parenteral routes and when they are used Infection control and prevention techniques Safe handling, preparation, and administration of injectable medications Equipment identification and proper disposal of sharps Recognizing and responding to adverse reactions Accurate documentation and reporting requirements Ethical and legal responsibilities related to medication administration This course blends clear instruction with practical demonstration to ensure participants feel prepared to perform their duties safely and professionally. Training is available in person or virtually, depending on class scheduling and requirements. At the end of the course, participants will have the foundational knowledge necessary to support medication administration within their authorized scope of practice.

APD Medication Training Course Policy This course is designed to prepare participants for the APD Medication Training Exam. Please note that this training is not appropriate for Assisted Living Facility (ALF) settings, and it is the participant’s responsibility to verify the suitability of the course before registering. Refunds & Rescheduling No refunds will be issued on the day of the class. If you are unable to attend, we will make every effort to reschedule you to the next available class, based on space availability. Alternatively, your payment may be applied as a credit toward another service offered by Rapid Time Education Center. Any credit must be used within 6 months to remain valid. Attendance Requirements Attendance is mandatory. You must be present for the full duration of the course—either 6 hours or 3 hours, depending on the class format—whether attending virtually or in person, as specified for your session.
